Overview

Working Principle

As a precision optical instrument for high-precision angle measurement, autocollimator (collimator) is widely used to measure the linearity of the guide rail, the flatness of the precision plate, the perpendicularity and parallelism between the base surfaces, the shaking error of the precision shaft system, etc.; and also measure the angle difference of various prisms and the parallelism difference of the flat mirror, measure and test the angle error between various prisms, flat mirrors and the assembly reference surface. This instrument is mainly used for precision measurement of small angles, such as the verification of polyhedral prisms. In addition, it can also measure the linearity, parallelism, perpendicularity and relative position of precision parts such as high-precision guide rails, and is also used for non-contact positioning and automatic measurement in precision measurement and instrument verification. The instrument is characterzied with easy installation and use, and is an indispensable testing instrument for precision machinery, instrument manufacturing, and related scientific research and measurement departments.

Application show

This instrument is a high-precision angle measuring instrument that applies the principle of optical self-collimation imaging and micrometering, uses optical self-collimation method to change the angle into a linear value. The micro linear displacement grating sensor detects the change of the linear value, measures the angle change indirectly. It is widely used for precision measurement of small angles. With the polyhedral prism, it can test the indexing errors of various indexing circles (multi-point indexing table, optical indexing table, turntable, goniometer, etc.); measuring the straightness of the guide rail, the flatness of the precision plate, the perpendicularity and parallelism between the base planes, the shaking error of the precision shaft system, etc. What’s more, it is also used to measure the angle difference of various prisms and the parallel difference of the flat mirror, and to measure and inspect the angular error between various prisms, flat mirrors and assembly reference planes. Therefore, the instrument is widely used in assembly, adjustment, and inspection of machinery manufacturing, precision instrument manufacturing, measurement rooms, optical laboratories, optical cold processing workshops and the optical instruments.
